I didnt see any formal Buddhist teaching mentioned the term 靈魂出竅. You will development 他心通, 天眼通 and other superpower abilities as by product of meditation, but that is not the purpose of meditation. The purpose of meditation is to develop concentration and clarity of mind and to see the changing nature of phenomenon. By seeing the reality of non self, impermanent of all existence, Nirvana can be realized. 靈魂出竅 has nothing to do with 開悟, 開悟 requires the wisdom of seeing reality as it is. There are seas of wisdom and teachings from Buddha which will help us eradicate greed, hatred and ignorance and benefit us today, this life and the next life. Paying too much attention on 靈魂出竅 and 神鬼 is like 入寶山而空回. Its better to practice and apply Buddhas teaching to our daily lives than talking about 名相, 文字, mysterious phenomena and not benefited from the teaching.
