前陣子在自己格子裡有介紹〞From Paris...尼采〞專輯，很開心也蠻意外能得到電小二的青睞http://blog.udn.com/lizstory2002/4116218。開心之餘也突然想到，在尼采這張專輯中還有一首曲子《The Windmills of Your Mind心之風車》，我也非常喜歡。印象中，除了自己曾彈過外，還有國內一位空靈美聲女歌手─齊豫也曾翻唱過，另外我喜歡的史汀也重新唱過。算是還蠻受台灣聽眾熟悉的曲子。
這首名為The Windmills of Your Mind，法文名─Les Moulins de Mon Coeur，原曲其實是很經典的法語版本，操刀的乃是法國知名樂者米榭·勒葛宏Michel Legrand，並於１９６８年發表於電影The Thomas Crown Affair《天羅地網》，並獲得當年度奧斯卡最佳電影主題曲，可以說是Michel Legrand米榭·勒葛宏的生涯代表作。
說到這位Michel Legrand米榭·勒葛宏，真可謂音樂奇才，因為他曾經三次奪得奧斯卡最佳電影配樂，不只是作曲家，也是電影配樂家，更是傑出的爵士鋼琴演奏家。這位來自法國的音樂人，曾分別以《天羅地網》（The Thomas Crown Affairs）、《往事如煙》（Summer of '42）與《楊朵》（Yentl）的電影配樂獲得小金人。與他驚人的配樂作品數量相比，葛勒宏的爵士專輯並不算多，但每一張作品都是精品，說他是電影配樂與爵士鋼琴演奏雙棲的佼佼者，一點都不為過。

"Windmills Of Your Mind"原本在電影中是由一位男歌手"NoelHarrison"所唱
電影中有一個橋段是男主角駕著滑翔翼在天空飛翔。作曲者Michel Legrand說這裡應該有一首歌，表現一種浪漫,瀟灑的感覺，導演也欣然同意於是Windmills Of Your Mind這首歌就誕生了。
根據自己聽音樂的經驗，凡好聽的曲子，總會被其它歌手傳唱，或者被改編成不同版本的演奏曲。也因為太喜歡這首曲子了，所以放上三個版本給大家欣賞。法文的詞，總是帶有慵懶詩意，這首曲子也不例外，藉物敘情的手法，豐富了視覺上的意境，只是，個人覺得這首曲子實在不好唱，咬字與旋律還有感情要兼顧很難，要是唱不好，真的會很像在念經!所以我精挑細選了一番，除了放上我喜愛的女歌手尼采版本之外，意外發現有位英藉女歌手Dusty Springfield演繹英文版本The Windmills of Your Mind，唱得真有味道！她慵懶渾然天成的嗓音讓我很著迷，有種彷彿走入放著黑膠唱片、煙霧迷朦小酒館裡的錯覺。Dusty Springfield雖然是用英文演繹，但歌詞內容同法語一樣，非常具有詩意。再來我也找了作曲者和樂團一起搭配演奏的版本，也很精采過癮!

後記：這首曲子The Windmills of Your Mind，藉由周遭各種周而復始的自然景像，把很多象徵意義的歌詞傾訴而出，在綿密反覆的旋律中，描寫剪不斷理還亂的撲朔迷離愛情，獨樹一格。
