My son drove us to Denver airport yesterday; we were going home to ours. He did not drop us at curbside only; instead, he parked his car and escorted us until the security check point. Prior to that, he helped us deliver our unaccompanied baggage by self-service, and he also instructed us how to get to the bus station if next time we want to visit him again. When I passed the security check screen, a security guy told me to stop. He showed me the sensor gadget displaying a red image. "What’s that?" He said there was something hidden in my right upper thigh. That was ridiculous. How could I hide anything after I took ALL stuff out of my body except the shirt, the pants, and the underpants? Okay, no problem. I let him search me with his hands on my body, including that sensitive part. All I complained about was that stupid gadget. PS For security reason, I don’t mind receiving strict check in riding public transportation. I once encountered an even stricter security check in Xinjiang two years ago. |
