Dear friends, relatives, and the very happy couple.

I am so happy that we get together today to celebrate Desiree & Chris wedding. Thank you for your coming!

Desiree is working in Kingston. She is a Quality Control Engineer.

I would like to thank two special persons. Without your contributions 29 years ago, Desiree would not get such a wonderful husband and I would not get such a nice son-in-law, Chris, today. Thank you, Andy, Chris’s Daddy, and thank you, Katherine, Chris’s Mom. Your product is 100% qualified and accepted in incoming QC!

Desiree is the most beautiful girl, a very clear pearl, and a very precious stone as her name in Chinese and Taiwanese, pronounced as Chin-Zhu. She was born to get all love from my family and her Mom family, particular from grandparents and great grandma.

Time is fast! My little Princess has married her Prince. From a baby girl to a wife I would like to share two her stories with everyone.

In her junior college year in UC Berkeley, she called her Mom “Hey, Mom, A boy I like very much, is asking me to have dinner with him”. “and, I have listen what Daddy told me”. I told Desiree in her bedtime story that a nice girl should not chase a boy. I am so happy that she was listening to Daddy. She is a nice Daddy’s girl.

The other bedtime story was talking about the TSAI family tradition and culture. Thirty years ago, when I asked my girl friend to marry me, she responded “I don’t know, you should ask my father.” So I ask Mr. Lin “Can I marry to your daughter?”. Mr. Lin said “Yes, Yes, When!” I told my three girls that someday, if a boy asks you to marry him, you should tell him exactly what your mom said that I don’t know, you should ask my Dad.

Last year, when Chris asked my permission to marry my daughter, I acted as my father-in-law, said “Yes, Yes, When?” Chris, I was so happy!

Later, one night, Desiree sent me a TEXT MESSAGE  “Hi, Ba! I got engaged!” This time, she is NOT the Daddy Girl any more! I can tell how much she love the boy – Chris!

Hi, Chris, I am so happy to have you be my son-in-law. You are so wonderful!

I would like to share you my opinion how to be a wonderful husband.

Let you wife make small and minor decision and you only take care the big and major decision. Also, let your wife decide which one is small and which one is big! You would have a much easy life for your self and to have a very harmony family!

Last, but not the least! I HAVE A DREAM!

Desiree, as the American Express commercial slogan, my dream is: DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT DADDY!

JEI JEI, I LOVE YOU. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. WISH YOU AND CHRIS HAVE A VERY HAPPY NEW FAMILY.
