藍莓果醬

盛夏,本地莓類『大出』,

價格合理到叫老媽偷笑。

一大盒藍莓,兩磅重,


超大顆的,只要4.89元~

本想全部凍起來慢慢吃,

或是用在鬆餅或是打藍莓冰沙。

很巧的看到了格友的分享,

便用了其中的四杯來熬藍莓果醬。


材料簡單,只要三種。

藍莓Blueberries 4 cups

白細砂兩杯 white sugar 2 cups

檸檬一個 1 lemon


做法:

1)將藍莓洗淨後稍晾乾,準備好檸檬汁。

   Rinse blueberries and set aside, and juice 1 lemon.




2)將藍莓放入食物料理機中,稍微打碎即可。

   Place blueberries in a food processor,

   cover and process until roughly blended.



3)將空瓶及瓶蓋放入深鍋中,加水蓋過瓶身,開大火煮開,

   煮開後轉小火悶至少十分鐘。

   Place jars and lids in a deep pan, add water over the jars' top.

   While it is boiling turn to low heat let it boils for at least 10 minutes.

  


4)將打好的藍莓倒入鍋中,加入糖以中火煮開。

   煮開後轉小火,不時攪動,直至收汁收得差不多,大約25分鐘。

   Place blueberries in a big pot, add white sugar,

   bring to boil and then turn to low heat,

   stir occasionally about 25 minutes.

5)加入檸檬汁,再攪拌約五分鐘。

   Add lemon juice and stir another 5 minutes.

6) 小心將消毒好的瓶子拿出,直立在乾淨的毛斤上。

   Carefully remove the jars and the lids from the boiling water

   and set upright on a towel.

7)小心將熬好的果醬裝入瓶中,留約一公分的空間。

   Watch out! Hot! Hot! Hot! Put the hot jam into the jars,

   leave about 1/2 inch (1.25cm) between the top and the rim of the jar.

8)稍微擦拭乾淨,蓋上蓋子,放回滾開的水中,再滾十分鐘。

   Wipe the edges of the jars and put on the lids.

   Carefully place the covered jars back in the boiling water

   and boil all jars for 10 minutes.

9)將消毒好的果醬瓶取出,放在乾布上放涼。

   很快你就會聽到波一聲,那表示瓶內中空完成~

   Remove the jars, place on a dry towel

   and very soon you will hear the popping sound.....Done!

Just wait until the jars are cool completely and then you can store them in your pantry. Once when you open it you need to keep it in the refrigerator.
