有時即使犯得是非常微小的錯誤，都可能改讓人誤解。以下五個句子即為範例，請試著抓出錯誤、導正語意。

1. There were very little people in the office this morning. 今天早上辦公室裡幾乎沒什麼人。
2. My new colleague is coming from Shanghai. 我的新同事是上海人。
3. The factory is on fire. They hope the firemen can arrive on time. 工廠起火了，他們希望消防人員可以及時趕到。
4. Mr. Chen usually goes to work with his car. 陳先生通常是開車去上班。
5. My supervisor asked me to stop to sleep at work. 我的主管要我停止在上班時打瞌睡。

Debug Answer

1. There were very few people in the office this morning.
little應用在不可數名詞，例如：I have very little time.（我的時間很少）如果用little來形容複數名詞，意思是「小的」，所以There were very little people in the office this morning語義會變成「今天早上辦公室裡有很小的人」，那就完全不合邏輯了！

2. My new colleague comes from Shanghai.
陳述不變的事實用現在簡單式即可，錯誤句中使用了現在進行式is coming，句義就變成「我的新同事正從上海來」。

3. The factory is on fire. They hope the firemen can arrive in time.
on time是指「按照預定時間做某事或準時發生」，in time才是「及時」的意思。
