Request a song or order a dish? Don't get the idea wrong!
1. request
People love to listen to all different genres of music on the radio: pop, hip-hop, rock, jazz, country, blues, etc. However, it can be more fun to actually request a song that you like. Here's how:
-
Genre:
Turn on the radio to a station that plays the type of music you like.
About a half hour later, you could try to call the station number. It will usually be announced on the radio a lot, so you can get it from there. Or you can check for a website and email your request through the website.
If you call, you may get a busy signal a lot, so hang up and try again until you get through.
Speak clearly into the phone, as not to mess up your request.
Don't say bye, because the DJ usually hang up before you can say it.
2. order
A: Are we ready to order some food?
B: Yes, I'd like to have Caesar salad first.
A: Good idea!
