1・於是,天主照自己的形像造了人,照天主的形像他造了男人。(創1:27)

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.(Genesis 1:27)

2・凡地面上結種子的各種植物,果內含有子的各種樹木,我都給你們作食物。至於地上的各種野獸,天空中的各種飛鳥,及地上所有的動物--有生魂的--我把一切綠色的植物給牠們作食物。(如是, 如是)事就這樣成了。(創1:29-30)

Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food." And it was so.(Genesis 1:29-30)

3・天主看了他所造的一切,認為樣樣都很好。(創1:31)

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.(Genesis 1:31)

4・凡是還帶生命之血的肉,你們不可吃。(創9:4)

But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.(Genesis 9:4)

5・我必要追討害你們生命的血債: 向一切野獸追討。也向人,向他追討同為人種的命債。凡流人血的,他的血也會被人所流;因為照天主的形像,天主造了人。(創9:5-6)

And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man. Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.(Genesis 9:5-6)

6・我必祝福你; 使你成名,成為一個福源。我要祝福那祝福你的人,咒罵那咒罵你的人;地上萬民都要通過你而獲得祝福。(創12:2-3)

"I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."(Genesis 12:2-3)

7・天主十誡

1 恭敬一天主在萬有之上。

2 毋呼天主聖名以發虛誓。

3 守瞻禮主日。

4 孝敬父母。

5 毋殺生。

6 毋邪淫。

7 毋偷盜。

8 毋妄證。

9 毋貪他人妻。

10 毋貪他人財物。(出20:3,7-8,12-17)

The Ten Commandments

I. You shall have no other gods before me. 

II. You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone 

guiltless who misuses his name. 

III. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 

IV. Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you. 

V. You shall not murder. 

VI. You shall not commit adultery. 

VII. You shall not steal. 

VIII. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. 

IX. You shall not covet your neighbor's house. 

X. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or 

donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.(Exodus 20:3,7-8,12-17)

8・孝敬你的父親和你的母親,會使你在天主賜給你居住的地方,延年益壽。(出20:12)

Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.(Exodus 20:12)

9・不要褻瀆天主,也不可詛咒管理你們百姓的長官。(出22:27)

Do not blaspheme God or curse the ruler of your people.(Exodus 22:27)

10・不可散佈謠言。不可作邪證助恶人(出23:1)

Do not spread false reports. Do not help a wicked man by being a malicious witness.(Exodus 23:1)

11・不可隨眾行惡。在訟事上作見證時,不可隨眾偏行,曲枉正義。(出23:2)

Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd.(Exodus 23:2)

12・若遇見你仇人的牛或驢迷了路,必要牽回來交給他。(出23:4)

If you come across your enemy's ox or donkey wandering off, be sure to take it back to him.(Exodus 23:4)

13・當遠離虛假的指控,不可殺無辜或有義的人,因我必不饒恕惡(罪)人。(出23:7)

Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty.(Exodus 23:7)

14・不可欺壓寄居者; 你們知道寄居者的心情,因為你們在埃及寄居過。(出23:9)

Do not oppress an alien; you yourselves know how it feels to be aliens, because you were aliens in Egypt.(Exodus 23:9)

15・凡土地的出產,不論是田裡的穀物,或是樹上的果實,十分之一應歸上主;它於上主是聖物。

(肋27:30)

'A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.(Leviticus 27:30)

16・你當全心、全靈、全力,愛上主-你的天主。我今天授予你們的誡令,你們應牢記在心。(申 6:5-6)

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.(Deuteronomy 6:5-6)

17・上主在你們面前怎樣毀滅那些民族,你們也要遭受同樣的毀滅,因為你們沒有遵從上主-你們

的天主。(申8:20)

Like the nations the LORD destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying the LORD your God.(Deuteronomy 8:20)

18・你們應將我這些話銘刻在你們的心靈上,繫在你們的手上,當作標記;懸在你們的額上,當作徽號。應將這些話教給你們的子孫,不論行住坐臥,不斷地講述。(申11:18-19)

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.(Deuteronomy 11:18-19)

19・我今天將祝福和詛咒,擺在你們面前--如果你們聽從上主-你們天主的誡命,你們必蒙祝福;如果你們不聽從上主-你們天主的誡命,必遭詛咒。(申11:26-28)

See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse-- the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.(Deuteronomy 11:26-28)

20・這話離你很近; 就在你口裡,就在你心裡,使你遵行。(申30:14)

The word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it. (Deuteronomy 30:14)

21・請教導我,我必靜聽; 請示我錯處。(約6:24)

Teach me, and I will be quiet; show me where I have been wrong.(Job 6:24)

22・天主絕不捨棄無錯的人,絕不扶助邪惡的人。(約8:20)

Surely God does not reject a blameless man or strengthen the hands of evildoers.(Job 8:20)

23・凡不行於惡人的計謀,不立於罪人的道路,不坐於譏諷者的座位; 而愛好上主的律法,晝夜專心默思衪的律法,才是有福之人!(詠1:1-2)

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on His law he meditates day and night.(Psalms 1:1-2)

24・挖坑掘穴者,必落在自掘的坑穴中。製造麻煩者, 麻煩必反轉到他身上; 橫(殘)暴者,他的橫暴必降落到他的頭上。(詠7:16-17)

He who digs a hole and scoops it out falls into the pit he has made. The trouble he causes recoils on himself; his violence comes down on his own head.(Psalms 7:15-16)

25・因為上主是公義的,他喜歡公義; 正直的人必得見他的面。(詠11:7)

For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face.(Psalms 11:7)

26・誰能在你的聖山上安居?只有那行為正直,作事公平,從自心說實話,口不吐惡言,不危害鄰里,不詆毀 他人,從不放高利貸; 從不受賄而傷害無辜;這樣行事的人,永不墮落。(詠15:2-3,5)

He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.(Psalms 15:2-3,5)

27・純潔的人,你待他純潔; 但待邪惡的人, 你要使用銳智。卑微的人,你必要救起;傲慢的人,你必要輕視。上主......(詠18:26-28)

To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty. You, O LORD, keep my lamp burning; may God turns my darkness into light.(Psalms 18:26-28)

28・上主的律法是完善的,能洗淨人靈。

上主的教約是可信的,能開啟愚蒙。

上主的規誡是正直的,能悅樂心神。

 上主的命令是光明的,能照明視野。(詠19:8-9)

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul.

The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart.

The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.

The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.(Psalms 19:7-9)

29・誰能登上上主的聖山?誰能立於祂的聖殿?是那手潔心清,不慕虛幻,不發假誓的人。他必獲得上主的祝福;和他的拯救者天主的平反。(詠24:3-5)

Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior.(Psalms 24:3-5)

30・上主仁慈又正直,教導迷途者走入正途,引導謙卑者遵守正義,領歸上主的正路。不論是誰

,只要他敬畏上主,上主必指示他應選的道路,他必安享幸福的生活,他的後裔必能繼承他的領土

。(詠25:8-9,12-13)

Good and upright is the LORD; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way. Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.(Psalms 25:8-9,12-13)
