   Hedgehog's birthday was coming!  All Hedgehog's friends were busy preparing presents.  Raccoon planned to give Hedgehog a drum. He knew that Hedgehog loved to drum.  Cat planned to give Hedgehog a storybook.  She knew that Hedgehog loved to read. Duck planned to give Hedgehog a new box of crayons.  He knew that Hedgehog had used up his crayons.  But Hedgehog's friend Monkey couldn't think of a present to give.  Monkey was a smart guy who was into fashion. He thought and thought, “I could get something to make Hedgehog look more fashionable. But,what?” Finally, he thought, “I know! I'll give Hedgehog this new T-shirt I bought for myself!  It's very stylish!  He`ll love it!” On the day of Hedgehog's birthday, all his friends gathered at his house.  When it came to opening the presents, it was one great surprise after another.  Hedgehog played his new drum.  Everyone sang and danced.  Then, Mother Hedgehog read them Hedgehog's new storybook.  After that, everyone drew a picture together using Hedgehog`s new crayons.  Everything was so wonderful!  But, Hedgehog wasn't wearing the T-shirt, so Monkey asked, “Hedgehog, don't you like my present?” Hedgehog gave him a big smile, “I like it very much! But… I don't want to prick it with my quills!” Monkey suddenly realized why Hedgehog hadn't worn his gift. He felt embarrassed and said, “I should have thought about your quills!” Mother Hedgehog smiled, “We all know that you have a very good heart!” “But I didn't think of what Hedgehog needed.  I just thought to get him something stylish that I liked.” said Monkey sadly. “Don`t worry!  Now you know!  And we do love your style!” said Hedgehog. “That's so true!” Raccoon, Cat and Duck said happily.  And everyone had a great time at the party!
