Looking around, the world is filled with soured romances, shattered dreams, and broken hearts.

Time heals most of the emotional wounds.  (Actually, most such wounds get healed themselves by gradually fading away from memory through the passage of time.)

Therefore, if your wound is still very much open and you are still licking it after all these years, this can and will be very detrimental to your physical and psychological well-beings.

Emotional wound needs to have a closure, or you will forever relive your pain, sorrow, and sadness for the rest of your life.

Life is too short and time really flies. So don't look back or dwell in the past.  Most of all, never give up your dream of looking for the Mr. or Mrs. Right. 

True love may be just around the corner, popping out at your least expected moment.  So grip it while you still can.  Don't let it slip through your fingers because it will never come back again.
