"《蔣介石日記》究竟有多少可以相信?"

We all know Chiang Kai-shek had a good habit of keeping diaries regularly, and now the whole(?) posthumous volume of his diaries are kept in custody at Stanford University and are conditionally open to the public.  Now some "scholars" are busy using the diaries as mutual proof of some significant events of modern China, and some others are even using the diaries as historical material directly.  But how are the veracity and the credibility of those diaries?  Please see the following critiques if you are interested in:

P.S.  The diaries concerning one of the most controversial parts is "Xian Incident".  Today is December 25th, Christmas Day, but it is also the day that was used to be celebrated as "民族復興節", the day of 1936 when Chiang was released from detention and flew back to Nanjing after the Incident.  (There were two other days of today that had been consigned to oblivion: "行憲紀念日" and "雲南起義紀念日")
