 I want to be a writer and my memory is my private literature. Doing my writing makes me more grateful for my lonelier times because it teaches and heals me a lot. My journal writing is a necessary part of my growth and change. As I become more aware of whom I am meant to be, I often "shed" possessions, stories, wardrobes, beliefs, traditions, behaviors, and yes, even people in my writing. What’s more, writing is a celebration and accessing of my imagination which elicits the genius within me. |
