中國宜興紫砂壺的千年美譽遭一夜顛覆，因大陸中央電視臺曝光紫砂煲和紫砂壺品質問題，江蘇宜興的紫砂行業陷入困境。

中新網報導，宜興茶壺批發市場商家表示，以往百元左右的禮品壺銷量最好，占所有銷售的80%以上，每天都有上百個顧客，但現在大家都有戒心了，一天難得有人光顧。

宜興紫砂壺一直是收藏家的最愛，享譽海內外。早在宋代，褐黑色的建窯茶具已深受喜愛，到明代時宜興紫砂名家輩出，紫砂茶具廣受歡迎。

到了近現代，宜興紫砂陶藝愈加精妙。東南亞各地對於紫砂的喜愛，也為紫砂進一步發展和繁榮帶來前所未有的好機遇。

據宜興陶瓷行業協會統計，當地紫砂從業人員從1985以來增加5倍以上。近5年來，陶業銷售以20%以上速度增長，形成一條80億元產業鏈。丁蜀、大浦等鎮到處是“家家捶泥，戶戶業陶”的興旺景象，陶工人數多達10萬。

但半個月前，央視曝光紫砂壺中摻化工原料後，這裡以往門庭若市的景象立即不復存在，大量商品壺批發市場關門歇業，從業者人人自危，當地鄉下靠賣低檔壺為生的村戶如今無所事事。

“最近廣州、北京等很多地方的經銷商都退了訂單，生意明顯下滑。”丁蜀鎮多年從業紫砂的藝人魯健明表示，“雖然曝光的是低價壺有問題，但對做名家壺的也有影響，對普通人來說，高低檔壺並不好區分。”

許多專家曾出面闢謠，稱加一些化工原料是為了整體效果，且經高溫燒製後對人體並無影響。少數不法商販在燒成後塗抹有毒原料，以增加假壺“賣相”，正宗的紫砂壺價格不會在百元以下。當地政府迅速召開整頓會議，稱要堅決查出這批“害群之馬”。

報導說，在有全球最大陶瓷市場之稱的宜興丁山陶瓷城，許多商家在聽聞政府整頓後，紛紛停業避禍，江蘇、福建、上海等地的超市也出現下架潮。

宜興市政府日前宣佈重啟對紫砂礦的開採，以期阻擋坊間對紫砂礦已“斷貨”、國內市場60%以上都不是正宗紫砂的猜測。

不過，由於紫砂行業制定把關標準並未出現。業者說，“因為做商品壺的太多了，攪渾了整個行業，等風頭過去慢慢看吧。”
