英小姐與電影院成了最熟悉的陌生人,以前常常半夜開車看電影、吃爆米花,現在缺了電影伴,多了惱人的工作,只好乖乖在家裡「洗手作羹湯」,是名副其實的宅女一枚。最近出來的電影送行者(departures)受到廣大的歡迎,我的心開始蠢蠢欲動 上網查了送行者的故事大綱,真的很有趣耶;這個週末在高雄,想與我一起體驗送行者之旅的朋友(老弱婦孺皆可報名,帥哥可以請我電影片我不介意的),請留言 Daigo Kobayashi (本木雅弘飾) suddenly unemployed.(失業的朋友一起來吧) Suffering from an innate sense that he is a musician, he faces up to the fact that not everyone who has devoted their life to music can become a top artist. (人生不如意的事情太多了,愛情不是,事業更不是)With wife Mika (廣末涼子飾), he moves back to his home town in the northeastern prefecture of Yamagata. Spotting a Help Wanted ad featuring the word “departures,” he is excited about trying a new career in the travel industry.(造化弄人也好,緣分也好,注定妳/你要幹這一行的,就跑不掉) He arrives for the interview, curiously eyeing the coffins lining the back wall of the office. The company owner hires him on the spot(這個片語簡直是多益考點). Daigo finally learned what he has gotten himself into: the ceremonial “encoffination” of corpses prior to cremation. The company owner asks him to take the job, offering large amounts of cash. He’s getting older, and needs someone to carry on the tradition. (城鄉差距、世代交替也是電影討論的焦點呢) Daigo overcomes his fears and begins to travel around Hirano with the company owner. Daigo develops a deep respect for life(生命珍貴又可愛,千萬不要喝酒開車啊,小朋友們) in all its variations, and empathy for people trying to make peace with the finality of death. |
