It just came to my mind when I try to promote two managers. It is an old sayings, and should be widely spread out already. Please bear with me if you heard about it before. In NASA, we are always told about this: If you just come to me and tell me there is a problem, you are pretty much useless. If you come to me and tell me there was a problem, and you fixed it, you are good, but you are not going to be a leader. If you come to me and tell me there was a problem, and you have asked someone to have it fixed. You are growing into a fine leader. |
