L'occitane stops making Vanilla Eau De Toilette!

HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?!

Its my FAVORITE scent. Vanilla -- simple and sweet. It does not distract your attention, does not disguise who you are, but represents you in a very simple and sweet way to the world. I feel comfortable wearing it and knowing that I smell good.

It gives me an uplifting energy in the morning. Its almost like a ritual before work that I need it on me (as much as in me, mentally) to get ready for another hard day at work. My patients like it too. "Sweet," they said. Its like a compliment that I have never had before. When everything else smells so sterile and harsh. My L'occitane vanilla keeps my sanity and takes me to my secret nirvana I can escape from work to.

"Because it does NOT sell," said Hubby.

But how can a very simple but sweet scent does NOT sell anymore? Vanilla is one of the original scents of L'occitane for Christs sake! L'occitane without vanilla is like Channel without its No5. What has happened to you, L'occitane?! I DON'T get it.

And not to mention that my other favorite things do NOT sell either, according to my hubby's assumption. First it was my favorite Chinese restaurant "disappeared" one day without any notice on the door. Then its Meijer that stops carrying Garlic Red Pepper Sauce from Taste from Thai. Right after this is my favorite Chinese buffet place that closed last week.

Ugh, Where are the good things gone?!
