道是天公不惜花，If the Heaven doesnt cherish flowers
百種千般巧。Why should He bestow them with charm of all kinds?
朝見樹頭繁，In the morning, they are burgeoning a lot.
暮見枝頭少。At dusk, they are withering a few.
道是天公果惜花，If the Heaven do care for the flowers fair,
雨洗風吹了。Why should He wash them away by wind and rain?
