For adjusting my jet lag, I decided to get to bed earlier last evening. Before that, I watched TV for some relaxation. When I surfed to a political talk show, coincidentally I heard a KMT legislator pronouncing Duan to the first word of that famous idiom, Sha Yu Er Gui.
I could not believe what I had heard of. Come on, the legislator is a PhD and a professor; how could she commit such an unforgivable error? The error made me think of that mayor of Taipei, Jiang, pronouncing Tang 目結舌 when he was campaigning in the last election two years ago. Please, KMT politicians, do not be a culprit to the de-Chinese movement!
