Last evening, I ate at a Korean dinner in the food court of an apartment store in my neighborhood. I ordered a hot pot in which various materials, including kimchi and instant noodles, were mixed. Well, it is kind of an ordinary food that is acceptable to me if I do not eat it often.
But I saw a piece of news the other day that at a Korean national banquet that hosted the US president, Biden also included that stuff: kimchi and instant noodles. I guess that you would agree with me that they are not the proper food that a haute cuisine restaurant like the National Banquet should provide. Hence, you can see how the food culture really is.
