An explosion at the ammunition depot took place the other day in Keelung. A KMT councilwoman urged that the depot be moved to another place so as to safeguard the lives of the residents who are living in the neighborhood as close as 300 meters away. She was right, wasn't she? Some other people thought otherwise. They argued the depot there will reinforce the need for ammunition when the PLA "invades" Taiwan. Then the councilwoman said if that situation happens, Taiwan "invites" PLA to do it. Again, she was right, wasn't she? But the viral criticism soon deluged her from everywhere. Strangely, her party, KMT, did not say anything about the event, like that had never happened. I have no idea what she was thinking, but she announced her withdrawal from the party the very next day.
