Yesterday an appalling gunshot occurred at an elementary school of Texas, USA, that claimed 21 lives, including 18 children. The incident happened only ten days later than a hatred crime causing a death toll of ten that took place at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York. (Two incidents have one thing in common: both of the murderers are only 18 years old. O my goodness!) The frequent killing makes America lower its flag to half-staff frequently. But what the use? The tragedies will happen over and over again as long as people are able to own private firearms, which would become the easily accessible weapons for criminal purposes of those crazies and extremists. I understand the origin and history of a nation like America that allows its citizens to own private weapons. However, time has changed. It is absolutely inappropriate now for any modern civilization to tolerate people still living under the rules of jungle. Why America cant? The root cause is the vested interests---a combination of firearm business, politicians, and lobbyists---has become a monstrous conglomerate which is too big to be rid of. Nobody dares to defy it; I mean nobody. Viva, demonic capitalism!
