Last evening Tai Tzu-Ying lost to Chen Yufei 1-2 in Tokyo 2020 women single final of badminton.  The scores of all three sets were pretty close, and either of the lady athletes could have the chance to win. Chen was luckier, and God was smiling on her.  That is it.  Although having gained countless titles in various opens and holding the number one position in world ranking for a long, long time, Tai never won her a title in any major tournament like Olympics and World Championship, including this time.  What a shame!

Another Yufei, Zhang Yufei,(though the last Chinese character of her name is different from that of Chen) acquired two gold medals and two silver medals in women swimming earlier.  Both of Chen and Zhang are 23 years old, that signifies their last name must have been a popular one, a "marketplace" name, in China Mainland when they were born.  So interesting.
