In 1949 before government of Nationist China lost its final office in Guangzhou, President Li Zhongren fleed to the US for "medical care".  (Some people might say Li was just a deputy president; but then Chiang Kai-shek had already abdicated his presidency, so Li was the successive president for sure, and that was the title US president Trumen addressing him in person.)  In 1966, Li and his wife returned to China Mainland to spend the rest of their days; however, ere long his wife passed away.  For some reasons or special arrangements, Li married his second wife, Ms Hu Yousong.  Attached below is the reportage regarding her legendary life at
