PS Ere long after Chiang paid his last visit to the islets outside Zhejiang Province where his hometown is not far away, PLA attacked and took all of the islets.  Many KMT soldiers, including the commander, were killed in action.  Thousands of local residents there were (forcibly) moved to Taiwan.  I used to live at Yung He County where the settlements of those newcomers were located.  (I remember I have told you before in my previous writing that an erstwhile colleague of mine was taken away on his way to school by KMT army.  He did not even have a chance to say goodby to his parents.)

Dear islanders, remember we have no way to go to if PLA restarts the unfinished civil war.  Time has changed, and American fleets will not come from air or sea to "rescue" us this time.  Think it over before you opt for Taidu, or even Dutai.
