How did my wife and I spend the Mid Autumn Festival yesterday, which happened to be our wedding anniversay also?  We dined out at a Taiwanese resturant the evening, inviting my daughter, son-in-law, and two granddaughters to join us.

When we got on our way to the resturant, I found the thermometer in my car indicated it was exactly 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside.  Oh my goodness, What the awesome power of an old wives summer, or Indian summer（秋老虎）really was.  It was SO hot.

PS The resturant serves dishes of Taiwanese flavor alright, but all of waiters and waitresses in there are Mainlanders, judging from the accent of their spoken Mandarin.
