A classmate of mine sent me the website connecting to subject old movie of 1948 via LINE months ago, but not until last evening did I watch it.  Because I had read the namesake novel, which was adapted for the film, when I was a college student.  It is the story between a lady of extreme single-mindedness on unrequited love and a dandy boy muscian（唉，人生自是有情痴, 此恨不關風與月），that is worth your while watching it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tTGu7ndZGI (Unfortunately, the movie contains no Chinese subtitles, but you can opt for an English one to help you understand the British-accented dialogues easier.)

I am a loyal fan to the actress Joan Fontaine, and I have watched almost all her movies, including Suspicion, Jane Eyre, Ivanhoe, and so on.  FYI, it is said that China Mainland and Hong Kong have also shot the namesake films based on the novel.
