I told you in my previous writing that I will watch the film someday, somehow; I did, on the flight from San Francisco to Taipei earlier today.

The storyline of the film illustrates the different young persons from Tsinghua University at different stages.  If you are not familiar with modern history of China, you might think the film is just like a scrappy essay.  It is not. 

Those young people may die young, but they are Young Forever when they are alive.  That is what the film is trying to convey.  I have read some critics saying the film is couched with the mindset of bourgepos classes.  Of course it is, because now China has been quite different from the time that the eventful lives occurred to those young people.  I bet even the director, drama writers and the actors could not perfectly capture the real image they are going to act. 

I admire the performance of Zhang Zhiyi in the film.  All kinds of emotion that are hard to express could be easily glinted in her eyes.  Good job!  Anyway, I hereby strongly recommend the film to you guys, though I do not know if it is available and free on Youtube now. 

PS  Ive got to go to bed.  Well, I felt totally spent right now.
