You know, as I grow older and older, I spend more and more time at hospitals and clinics. I guess nobody would like repair to the place like hospital or clinic because bad health is the thing that everybody tries hard to avoid, no exception. Therefore, a mature and advanced medical system is an overt sign of a developed country. In Taiwan we could "enjoy" a relatively inexpensive and rather convenient medical care under national health system. How about in China Mainland? I am not sure, but judging from the comments online, there are still plenty rooms for further improvement in her nationwide medical system for taking care of all people in such a populous country as China. If someday KMT regains the office, I suggest both sides of the strait can resume their cooperation in medical advances first. After all, serving people well in their health is the most important thing for an accountable government to do.
