How a product is marketed to the public plays a big role in how well the product will sell. That is why marketing firms have to think outside the box to get consumers interested in their products and services.

Scent marketing is a relatively new marketing trend that attempts to enter the marketplace through the nose. Another new idea in advertising is called guerrilla marketing. It could involve graffiti art that is done legally or sticker bombing a part of town with a lot of pedestrian traffic. Flash mobs have even been organized to push products on the public.

All these are part of the new face of marketing, and they go way beyond the traditional print ads and TV commercials that are currently being produced.
