查查 Yahoo 字典，只可以查到 "不規則；不正當"，如果朝這方向來解讀上面的句子，肯定會錯意的。這時真的需要查查英英字典的解釋：Constipation. "便秘"的學名。

另一個解釋是：irregular and infrequent or difficult evacuation of the bowels; can be a symptom of intestinal obstruction or diverticulitis

這裡面又有一個很有意思的字 bowel，以前每次看到這個字出現是 bowel movement "排便"，當時很不經心地懷疑：[為什麼排便和 "碗" 有關呢？]，後來才發現 bowel 是 "腸子" (= intestine)，bowl 是 "碗"，差了一個英文字母 e，可差多了呢!!!

如果再講到 "瀉肚子"，學名是 diarrhea，也常說 lose bowels，不過口語上最常講的還是 have the runs。
