Not that I boast and trumpet

I live in this world

And almost each part of mine is useful

I will never be encumbrance in the world

See and think

My green from root to top nourishes the eyes

The oxygen exhaled by me is beneficial to the health

The heavy shade created by me can be protecting

My leaves can mirror the seasons

My trunk can be building material

My body can be the hotbed for birds and worms

What is most important, is that my erect stance

Can be a model for the coward

Then, even if I am dead

I can be the fertilizer

So who can deny my value?

Who can say I am boasting and trumpeting?

So useful I am!

At least I will never be encumbrance in the world!

不是我誇大吹噓

我立身在世

幾乎每一部分都是有用的

我絕不作世間的累贅

看一看，想一想

我的一身綠可以養眼

我呼出的氧氣有益健康

我創造的濃蔭可以作庇蔭

我的葉子可以映照季節

我的樹幹可以作建材

我的身軀可以作鳥雀、蟲豸的溫床

更重要的是，我挺立的姿態

可以為懦弱者的典範

等而下之，即使死了

我還可以當肥料

誰能否定我的用處？

誰能說我在自我誇大吹噓？

我就是這麼有用的！

至少我不作世間的累贅！
