〈I'll Be There For You〉是曾經風靡一時的美國影集《Fiends》（中譯《六人行》）的主題曲，即使是在2004年殺青至今，依然讓許多人著迷不已。筆者也是其中之一。
　　原先是抱著學習順便練習英文聽力的想法，一路從第三季看到了第九季（總共十季），但是在第七季與第八季之間，多了一些不同的體會。這兩季，正確來說是從第六季結尾處開始，直到第八季前半段，一直環繞著結婚這個主題。
　　正好我最近也和朋友談起未來的事，學生生涯結束、職場工作以及家庭、結婚等等話題。甫一想像這些事情，就令人感到煩躁，問著即將面對的人，緩緩聽來似是簡單容易的話語，然而加以細思之後，腦中又是一團糾結。
　　就像歌詞的第一句：沒有人告訴過你，人生會走到如此地步。雖然這首歌的前三句十分有趣，但是想著想著，這不就像是我們這些小人物傳唱自己的生命一般，既帶著苦楚與酸澀，又無法克制地望著藍天開懷大笑。
