If a concert venue has a floor seating section, this means that the concert is probably taking place in a big sports stadium. These are places right at the front or very close to the front. You can have a floor seat reserved if you plan to choose a seat in this section.
Floor seating is seats on the floor.
It is not as bad as it might seem. The guests seated on the floor are allowed to stand or dance in the area occupied by the seat but not on the chair. In fact, it is one of the rules stated for entrance in Manchester Arena in the UK, meaning you are not welcome in the venue if you don’t accept guests dancing in front of you.
If you look carefully, you might notice the fact that the guests in this video actually have seats-including the ones on the floor.
