滑手機 slip(tap) the phone？
「滑手機」英文是什麼？（不是 “sliding phone”！)
一般在提到「滑手機」時，在英文和中文其實有不同的解讀和定義。
滑手機的英文是 playing with one’s phone 或是 looking at one’s phone。
以上這兩個用法在英文裡偏向指「玩手機」的意思。
但中文講「滑手機」，除了指「玩手機」這件事，還包含了「滑」這個動作。
如果想翻譯成英文的話，其實說 playing with one’s phone 就很貼近了！
而如果想強調「滑」這個動作，用 scroll 這個單字較接近中文所形容「滑手機」的意思，特別是指滑 Facebook、Instagram 等社群網站。
另外，還有一個字 phub 可以用來指「因滑手機而冷漠他人」的行為。

滑手機的英文翻譯
[1] using one’s cellphone/mobile phone/smartphone
[2] texting
[3] slide one’s finger on the screen of a smartphone
[4] play with a smartphone由於大部分人滑手機都是在跟別人打字，所以你也可以說 texting。
很多時候不必特別翻出來滑動的動作，因為滑手機就是玩手機的意思，如果一定要翻出來就用 slide 這個動詞。
例句中的 tap 是輕輕的觸碰的意思。
低頭族(手機成癮者) smartphone addicts？
phubber 低頭族：phone+snubber
「低頭族」可說是本世紀最夯的字了，snub意思是冷落、漠視，指在各種社交場合，自顧自地使用手機，把別人晾在一邊。這時你可以喊一聲「Stop phubbing!」再來猜猜看screenager是什麼意思？screenager=screen+teenager也就是指整天盯著3C產品螢幕、沉迷網路世界的青少年。
