如何讓測試工程師無暇偵錯？

Bar:You dont look happy, young man.

酒保：你看來並不快樂，年輕人。

Rookie:No, I cant achieve the goal set by my manager. I feel the sky is falling.

Bar:That is normal, all software engineers were overwhelmed when they started here.

Rookie:I have 35 programs to complete in 3 days. I have wrote all of them, but they all have bugs. I have no idea where these bugs are from, and how to eliminate them.

Bar:Calm down, young man, you are not the only one. I had the same problem before and I overcame it.

Rookie:How did you overcome it? By drinking different brand of coffee, by changing your religion, or by borrowing time from God?

Bar:No, none of them. I made it by making the testers believe the programs had no bug.

酒保：不，都不是，我讓測試者認為我的程式裡沒有蟲(錯)。

Rookie:How did you do that? The test engineers check my program like the detectives checking the prime suspect. No stone unturned.

新人：你怎麼辦得到？測試者測試我的程式就像偵探查主嫌犯一樣，每樣都查。

Bar:I put the real bugs in their drawers, and the virus into their computers, to keep them busy. When they finally had chance to check my program, they were out of time.

酒保：我把真的蟲放進他們的抽屜裡，把病毒植入他們的電腦中，讓他們忙得要死。當他們終於有機會查我的程式的時候，已經沒時間了。

Rookie:That is a great idea, but I dont dare to catch bugs, not to mention putting them into the testers drawers. My mom never allows me to do that. Can you help me?
