Dear Daisy: It's your big day today. I wish you the best now and forevermore~~ ‘Twas the night before Daisy’s wedding ‘Twas the night before your wedding day, And all through the house, Not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse; The wedding dress was hung by the door with care. In hopes that the big day soon would be there. The groom was nestled all comfy in his own bed, Danced in his head.
Exhausted, excited and a little bit scared. Farewell to her single life, Picturing for the married one, Sweet and sad emotions mingled in dreams so vivid. Comes in the morning the big wedding day. Birds are chirping and sunshine in the sky. The Bride and the Broom’s feelings are getting high, Eagerly await for that magical moment to fly by. Relatives arrive from near and far, By air, by train, by taxi and by car, Bring with them joy and blessing, Wishing the newly weds best deep from their hearts. The friends and families have been planning, Get ready for the big celebration. They gathered their dresses and accessories, Their glitterings and dazzlings, Pink and red and sparklings, To the banquet with dance shoes they are dashing. Blazing red candles flicks bright, Cheering and laughing crowds drink with delight. When, what to guests’ wondering eyes should appear, Goes the ceremony so perfectly, The Groom adores his breathtaking bride so sweet. A kiss on her lips to seal the promise forevermore, Travel in this life journey lonely no more. With such a brilliant flare she beams, To her prince charming hereinafter to be. In health, in wealth in good and in bad, We’ll be together till the end of the day. The Bride and the Groom call to their guests. Many thanks for this blissful get-together, To witness, to share and to remember, This romantic moment is cherished forever. In the spirit so high, In the air love glide, The husband and wife announce: “Let the feast begin and let’s party tonight!” |
