Selected poems:The Curved Planks-Yves Bonnefoy https://www.sanmin.com.tw/Product/index/001941195 The Curved Planks Yves Bonnefoy; Hoyt Rogers (TRN); Richard Howard (FRW) Farrar Straus & Giroux ISBN13:9780374530754 https://www.sanmin.com.tw/Product/index/007652441 彎曲的船板 作者:伊夫‧博納富瓦 譯者:秦三澍 出版社:人民文學出版社 出版日期:2019/07/01 LES RAINETTES, LE SOIR I Rauques étaient les voix Des rainettes le soir, Là où l’eau du bassin, coulant sans bruit, Brillait dans l’herbe. TREE FROGS, AT EVENING I At evening, the tree frogs Sounded hoarse, where water Trickled soundless from the basin, Glistening in the grass. And the sky glowed red In the empty glasses; A whole river of moon Flooded the table of earth. Our hands full or not: The same abundance. Our eyes open or shut: The Same light. A STONE A mysterious haste urged us on. We went in, we opened The shutters, we recognized the table, the hearth, The bed; the star was growing larger in the window, We heard the voice that wants us to love At summer’s crest Like dolphins playing in their sea without a shore. Let’s sleep, not knowing ourselves. Chest against chest, Our breathing mingled, holding hands without a dream. A STONE We granted each other the gift of innocence: For years just our two bodies fed its flames. Our steps wandered bare through trackless grass. We were the illusion known as memory. Since fire’s born of fire, why should we desire To gather up its scattered ash. On the appointed day we surrendered what we were To a vaster blaze, the evening sky. |
