| Selected poems：葉維廉的《龐德與瀟湘八景》 https://www.books.com.tw/products/0010425793 龐德與瀟湘八景 作者：葉維廉 出版社：國立臺灣大學出版中心 出版日期：2008/12/01 語言：繁體中文 本書鞭辟入裡剖析美國現代主義詩人龐德受到中國詩和中國文字結構的激發，並進一步探討龐德與中國道家思域之合與分：在美學上，龐德渴望類似道家所打開的語言策略，但政治上，卻與道家思想有重大的分歧。作者強調，龐德被瀟湘八景的畫本身所吸引，極欲把它們作為畫特有的訴諸視覺的感染魅力喚起的一種超乎「敘」「說」得到的感受抓住和呈現，也就是帶著看畫所得的感受去協調詩的營造。換句話說，龐德在語法翻新和入籍中國語法的過程中，已經進入了道家去框後的美學策略裡。 我們讀到龐德《詩章》(Cantos) 的第49首，眼前一亮，覺得詩的境界和語法都迴響著古典中國詩的意味。事實上，這首詩可以說是龐德巨篇《詩章》(116首，800頁) 中最美麗，最饒有趣味的一首。但如果我們熟識首詩的來源，是一組瀟湘八景的畫和詩以及些畫，詩所承繼的豐富傳統，這首詩會放射出一種恐怕連龐德本人也未曾料到、也未能完全掌握的多重意指。 像龐德很多其他的詩章一樣，這首詩也是從翻譯的一些材料重建而成。龐德在義大利得到一本冊頁，裡面是一個名叫佐佐木玄龍的日本人 (我的日本朋友西村萬里考證他是十七世紀的人) 畫的瀟湘八景，每張畫上題有漢詩和日文詩。龐德在義大利找到一個從中國去的女子曽寶蓀 (即曾約農之妹)，請她把八首中國詩翻譯成英文草稿，他就是按照她的草稿寫成該詩的前四分之三，再溶入他龐大文本呈現的文化、美學的競奏裡。 〈瀟湘夜雨〉 先自空江易斷魂 凍雲粘雨濕黃昏 孤燈篷裡聽蕭瑟 祗向竹枝添淚痕 〈洞庭秋月〉 西風剪岀暮天霞 萬頃煙波浴桂華 漁笛不知羈客恨 直吹寒影過蘆花 〈煙寺晚鐘〉 雲遮不見梵王宮 殷殷鐘聲訴晚風 此去上方猶遠近 為言只在此山中 〈遠浦歸帆〉 鷺界青山一抹秋 潮平銀浪接天流 歸檣漸入蘆花去 家在夕陽江上頭 〈山市晴嵐〉 一竿酒旗斜陽裡 數簇人家煙嶂中 山路醉瞑歸去晚 太平無日不春風 〈江天暮雪〉 雲淡天低慘玉塵 扁舟一葉寄吟身 前灣咿軋數聲櫓 疑是山陰乘興人 〈平沙落雁〉 雲絮書空淡墨橫 幾行秋雁下寒汀 蘆花錯作衡陽雪 誤向斜陽刷凍翎 〈漁村夕照〉 薄暮沙汀惑亂鴉 江南江北鬧魚蝦 呼童買酒大家醉 臥看西風舞萩華 Canto Xlix / Ezra Pound For the seven lakes, and by no man these verses: Rains; empty river, a voyage, Fire from frozen cloud, heavy rain in the twilight Under the cabin roof was one lantern.
