本案為一髮型沙龍，位處台北大直，在以都市重劃為首的新興都會區塊中，一幢新建高樓的下層店鋪。室內本身為挑高四米二的狹長形空間，我們巧妙地以夾層的形式，擴大可使用的空間範圍，並以沙龍主人－髮型設計師自身的形象為概念出發，藉由大量木作材料與自然元素的運用，設計出健康、陽光、友善環境的綠色生活場域－讓沙龍成為一個可以在轉換髮型之餘，同時亦轉換心境的城市綠洲。

Located at Dazhi, an emerging urbane district in Taipei City, the IN HOUSE SALON is a hairdressing store on the ground floor in a new building. For its 4.2-meter-hight indoor space, the designer skillfully extends working area by means of mezzanine architectural structure. Based on the personal characteristic of hairstylist, the boss of salon, the designer brings to customers a stress-free environment by applying a number of woods and natural construction materials.

甫踏入沙龍玄關，挑高的接待區即拉大了室內整體的空間感受，由淺色系木質作為主要的構築素材，呈45度角斜向拼貼的地板，垂直向凹凸變化的櫃台，與切割接待區及工作區域的隔牆，透過視覺上的方向感營造、序列變化、長向空間的分割…等方式，削弱場域自身帶給人的促狹感，並藉由大量灰鏡明鏡與光線的輔助，在有限的空間內，盡可能創造出舒適、宜人的尺度。此外，我們也以大面積的綠色調牆面，與鋪上人工草皮的滑梯造形展架，和木紋材質共構出原始、自然的場域氛圍，一方面也強化了上下層之間垂直向度的聯結。同時，為了有效的利用空間，我們也將主要的儲物空間收攏於樓梯下方，並以推拉門做有效的阻隔，在收納之餘，也讓位於夾層的VIP區域保有專屬的私密性。希冀透過周全的空間設計，讓每一位賓客在改變造型的同時，也能因著室內營造的自然氛圍，感受到全然舒緩、放鬆的沙龍體驗。

The indoor space becomes roomy by the design ideas of tall reception area, crisscross paved floor, cube-surface counter, wall between reception and working area, etc. Meanwhile, the application of mirrors and lightings gives rise to a pleasing environment. The entire space comes to be consistent and harmonious by means of large green wall, curved display stand with artificial turf on top, and wood grain textures. Furthermore, both the sliding door and the storage space under stairs effectively use space while securing the privacy of VIP area in the meantime. The delicate interior design makes hairstyling a pleasant experience for customers.
