根據 Billboard 雜誌的統計，這首歌在 1972 年之前已被錄製了 90 多個版本。 翻唱過這首歌的國際巨星，如平克勞斯貝、雪莉貝西、達絲提史賓菲爾、羅伊克拉克、安迪威廉斯、葛倫坎伯、胡利歐伊格萊西亞斯、強尼馬賽斯、威利尼爾森等。 其中最受台灣歌迷喜愛的是鄉村巨星葛倫坎伯於 1974 年灌錄的版本，收錄在《 Houston（ Im Coming To See You ）》專輯。

2008 年，原唱阿茲納沃爾在自己的《 Duos 》專輯中和艾爾頓強合唱，唱的是英語版“ Yesterday， when I was young "。歌詞如下
