春天來了。 換了個新工作。 公司坐落於山景城的科技園區。 樹木扶疏， 井然有序。 公司福利良好， 包括附近Gold's健身俱樂部的免費會員。 下了班， 來到 Gold's Gym， 看看環境， 作作運動， 舒解工作緊張的壓力。 俱樂部還提供不少課程。 瑜珈課， 一個似熟悉又陌生的運動， 來自印象中那個遙遠又神祕的國度， 印度。 一個星期後， 走進瑜珈教室， 找了個角落坐下後， 等候老師的到來。 約八百平方尺的面積， 席地坐滿了工作一天後的上班人， 靜靜地。 教室玻璃門打開， 閃進了一個身影， 堅定沈穩地走到教室前方， 那一刻， 彷彿一股強大的能量擁進了這個密閉的空間, 教室似乎更安靜了。 我遇到了生平第一位瑜珈老師， Marti Foster。 Marti 著緊身無袖運動上衣， 露出結實的肩膀和雙臂； 身體修長直挺， 充滿了韻律感。 她的聲音低沈寬厚， 穩定有力， 富有磁性。 目光掃過之處， 留下一堆訝異。 在往後的瑜珈日子裡， Marti 有時像個印度女神， 呢呢喃喃； 有時又像個亞馬遜叢林走出的女戰士， 不斷把你的體能逼向高峰； 巴西嘉年華度假回來， 教室又出現了個熱情黝黑的森巴女郎。 老實說， 長到三十來歲， 工程師， 高科技， 理性， 精確； 真實生活中， 真是頭一回遇到如此多變， 神祕， 強悍， 優雅又美豔的女子。 ＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋＋ It's spring time. I got a new job. The new company is situated in the technology district of Mountain View, California; trees well lined along the street, everything going in a well order. Company provides good benefits to employees, including of the free membership of the Gold's Gym nearby. After work, I came to the Gold's Gym, checked out the environment, equipments and classes schedule, and exercised to release the stress and fatigue after day's work. The Yoga classes are on the schedule list. A seemingly familiar but strange impression flashed up on my mind. Oh, that is the way of meditation from the far away and mystic land, India. One week later, I showed up on time in the Yoga studio which is about 800 square feet. Land a spot, sit down and wait the instructor. Noticing the 9 to 5 office people nearly filled all the space, in unusual quietness. When the door was open, a quick image strided to the front of the crowd, firmly and stably. A blast of energy flooded in this closed space at the moment, the air seemed more in quiet. I met my first Yoga teacher, Marti Foster. Marti wore sleeveless exercise top, exposing the round muscular shoulder and upper arms. Her body is slender, upright, curvy as the melody of some music. Her voice is deep, wide, confident, while charismatic. During the practice afterwards, Marti's teaching, sometimes, appears like singing of Hindu Goddess, softly as well as sensually. The other time, she evolves like a women Amazonian warrior out of the jungle, pushing the student's physicality to the extreme. After vacations in the Brazilian carnival, here comes one tanned Samba girl in passion. Well, I was a 30s year old man in my high-tech career as engineer, always pursuing the goal of rationality, punctuality. In real life, here stands this dazzling woman like the reflected light through the prismatic lens, colorful, mysterious, tough, healthy, graceful and charming. It is, to me, an alive, new experience.
