這首歌很輕快但是內容挺有黑色的喜劇味道。我在聽這首歌時總是會想像這位Jane小姐倒底是做了什麼不可原諒的醜事﹐讓家人蒙羞﹐以致於要改名換姓到他鄉去過日子呢。這首歌聽起來就像一場電影劇﹐很有戲劇性呢。

但今天要說的不是喜劇﹐而是發生在現實生活中的真人真事。若是我告訴你這是在二十一世紀在歐洲最民主的國家之一瑞典發生的﹐想必你會懷疑真實性﹐但是這種悲劇不只是在瑞典﹐在歐洲的任何角落或是說在世界上的任何地方都有可能發生。

Fatima從很小的時候就隨著父母以難民名義從中東移民到瑞典﹐她受的瑞典教育教她眾人平等﹐但是在傳統回教的教育裡﹐她的很多作為都不被一樣從中東來的保守派族人所認同。她在國中時交了一位瑞典籍的男友﹐這讓她的父母兄弟都感到很難堪﹐因為族人在背後指指點點的壓力讓她的父親很沒有面子。族人甚至認為她的所作所為已經到了讓其他的族人蒙羞的地步。她的父親受到很大的壓力﹐全家(只有男性有權)開會認定Fatima及男友都必須要家法處死﹐不然這家人永遠都會在族人面前抬不起頭來。後來Fatima被殺傷﹐而她的男友更死於車禍。沒有人能證明她的男友的死亡與她的家人有關﹐她的案件也因罪證不足﹐不足以讓下手的兄長入罪。但Fatima受到政府保護﹐改名換姓到他鄉生活。要受到匿名保護的條件是Fatima必須要和家人切得一乾二淨。Fatima雖然有父兄要殺她﹐但她也有好幾個向著她的親姐妹及媽媽。她沒有遵照指示﹐暗地還是和姐妹連絡。有一天她到妹妹家秘密探訪妹妹及媽媽時﹐她的爸爸及哥哥得到情報衝進屋裡﹐當著兩個妹妹的面前槍殺了Fatima﹐為家人的「榮譽」殺了自己的親生女兒及妹妹。Fatima在死前還唸著「可憐的爸爸.....」她的小妹被這血淋淋的場景嚇得精神失常﹐沒辦法說話﹐一直到今天都還未復原。另一個妹妹在報案時說爸爸殺了姐姐﹐但在母親懇求下不願出庭作證。

這個案件並不是在瑞典絕無僅有的一件﹐在那之前就發生過很多類似案件﹐但Fatima因致力於幫助有相同問題被家人追殺的女性﹐好幾次出現在電視上而有點名氣。她的死造成了瑞典社會不小的震撼。但是在她死後﹐仍陸陸續續有好幾件中東少女在家「意外」墜樓死亡或因其他意外致死的案件發生。

對很多人來說﹐女兒的性命不及家庭榮譽重要的觀念已讓他們無法瞭解(我是其中之一)﹐而女兒與外族交往是一種比死更大的恥辱更是難以了解的心態(就像我不能想像我硬要嫁給Calle而爸爸說絕對不行﹐並且要我弟弟追殺我一樣)。但是我們能做到的有多少?在學校﹐很多的教育人員會多注意年輕的女學生突然休學不見(12、13歲就被逼嫁到中東﹐好讓親家也能移民過來)﹐但有時還是來不及擋住﹐小孩子就突然不見了。在丹麥﹐政府比較強硬﹐規定在不適婚年紀時結婚的移民﹐政府有權不發給移民的另一伴居留權﹐以遏止年紀太輕的指定婚姻。但在講究人權的瑞典很難做到這種「不人道」的方式。其實這個規定雖然看來不人道﹐卻可以保護弱小者。但我要強調的是﹐除了在新一代的教育下多加強自由民主的真諦外﹐老一輩的根深蒂固的傳統觀念﹐要怎麼去改呢? 你告訴我。

在這個世界﹐要說到和平相處﹐還是有很長的路要走。聽首歌吧﹐比較不讓人難過。
