這首歌也是Suzanne Vega唱的。可惜找不到原來的影像版。所以找來三個版本供參考。

這首歌從頭到尾都是同一個調﹐讓人有一成不變的單調感。但這也是這首歌想要表示的﹐一成不變的生活。因此我聽這首歌時﹐會有替自己一成不變的單調生活感到悲哀的感覺。也因如此﹐很喜歡這首單調的歌。

不管是男聲或女聲都是一貫的對生活平淡無味的無奈感。若把它當做一個影片﹐則一拉開影幕就是一個平凡得再不能平凡的上班族老百姓在趕火車上班前﹐在街角的美而美早餐店坐下來吃早餐的一景。

連服務生都嫌她太平凡﹐連咖啡都沒倒滿就去招呼剛進門的美女了。那種十足巴結的樣子連女主角都看不下去﹐轉到另一邊去看報紙。(覺得女主角真像我呀。 )

連報紙的八卦也很無趣﹐講的是一個沒聽說過的演員﹐在喝酒時掛掉了的新聞。

就在她在看本周星座占卜時﹐突然覺得有人在看她。真的嗎? 真的嗎? 真的有人注意到我嗎?

仔細一瞧﹐不是的﹐只是一個過路的女人對著玻璃窗整理面容﹐順便把裙子往上拉一些﹐把絲襪拉平而已。那個女的﹐頭髮都濕了。

下雨了﹐聽說這雨會下上一整天。當她聽著大教堂的鐘響聲時﹐想到的是她的心上人.....以及那次的午夜野餐﹐那是在許久以前﹐在雨還沒開始下之前的事了....。
