Saturday, July 23, 2011 9:40 PM 看新聞,大陸高鐵兩列車追撞。 大陸新聞稱“動車”。又是一個新字,查了百度百科卻說不是新玩意,還是外國來的“水貨”。 網上還有動車時間表, http://www.dongche.org/ 老婆說就是 D列車,D for Dong, in case you ask。 想來就是台灣的高鐵,Obama 講的美國也要的 high speed train. 日本的“子彈飛車”。 字原是日語吧? 動力火車的簡稱。 可是,動車的英文卻是 Multiple Units。 更好玩的是,動車還有兩種: DMU和EMU。 中文又翻成,油動車和電動車。 (有獎徵答:什麼是DMU,EMU 的原文? ) 有火車達人嗎?有必要把中文折騰的這樣嗎? In the English news, it was reported as simply as "bullet train". A "multiple units" should be 列車。 Back in Taiwan, 柴電聯車,was used a long time ago, nothing new. As about that China to export its high speed train technology, perhaps only to countries who are interested in these cheap copied version (山寨版)of German and Japan origins. As you see in this case it has no device to avoid lightening. The bottom line, what a stupid term, 動車,a metaphor of so-called China surging as an economic power. |
