有客 - 周頌19.詩經284

有客有客，亦白其馬，
有萋有且，敦琢其旅。
有客宿宿，有客信信
言授之縶，以縶其馬。
薄言追之，左右綏之，
既有淫威，降福孔夷。

前來京城諸侯貴客，騎著白馬駕著篷車；
部屬隨從人數衆多，高尚才華良好品德。
住滿兩天貴賓想走，再住幾日廣交朋友；
幫忙解開馬缰繩索，設法留住白馬篷車。
客人告別追去歡送，左右官員盡力挽留；
既用熱情招待貴客，願上天看顧降福多。

Visiting the capital was the honored feudal leader,
Riding in a wagon towed by white horses,
Followed by staffs and subordinates,
Who were talented with high morality.

Honored guests wanted to leave after 2 nights,
Were convinced to stay longer to get new acquaintances,
Helped untie the reins of white horses,
Meant to hold the horse-driven wagon.

Chased the honoed quests to say farewell,
Officers invited them for a longer stay,
Has treated the guests with enthsiasisam,
May heaven’s care and blessing be abundant.

【註】〈有客〉是〈詩經.周頌〉的第19首，其序文是「微子來見祖廟也」。關於這首詩，《毛詩正義》解釋說：「成王既黜殷命，殺武庚，命微子代殷後。既受命，來朝而見也。《有客》詩者，微子來見於祖廟之樂歌也。謂周公攝政二年，殺武庚，命微子代為殷後，乃來朝而見於周之祖廟。詩人因其來見，述其美德而為此歌焉。經之所陳，皆說微子之美，雖因見廟而歌，其意不美在廟，故經無廟事。為周太平之歌，而述微子之美者，言王者所封得人，即為王者之美，故歌之也。言見於祖廟，必是助祭，序不言所祭之名，不指所在之廟，無得而知之也。」
