載見 - 周頌18.詩經283

載見辟王，曰求厥章，
龍旂陽陽，和鈴央央。
鞗革有鶬，休有烈光，
率見昭考，以孝以享。
以介眉壽，永言保之，
思皇多祜，烈文辟公。
綏以多福，俾緝熙于純嘏。

諸侯一開始朝見成王，就懇請天子頒發律法典章，
此時龍旗隨風飄揚，和馬車上的鈴聲共鳴齊響。
御馬韁繩的金飾美輪美奐，莊嚴威盛又閃閃發光，
天子率領諸侯祭祀武王，獻祭上帝和孝敬祖先。
祈求上天賜下長壽，保守我們直到永遠，
祈求皇天賜下恩典，使諸侯文武兼備事業輝煌。
但願天賜的千福百祿，讓王朝永遠顯耀興旺。

As the feudal leaders appeared before the king,
They sincerely asked the king to declare the law of ordinances,
Then the dragon flag was flying with the wind,
In harmony with the sound of bells on the wagon.

The reins on horses were studded with brilliant metals,
Solemn, mighty, glittering, and shining,
Led by the son of heaven to honor their formal king,
To respect ancestors and to worship God they presented offerings.

May God increase our time of life,
Protect and secure us forever long,
May God grant us with abundant blessings,
Help the feudal leaders be civilized, prosperous, and strengthened.

Wish the abundant blessings from heaven,
Keep the kingdom forever radiant and thriving.

【註】〈載見〉是〈詩經.周頌〉的第18首，其序文是「諸侯始見乎武王廟也。」《毛詩正義》解釋說：「〈載見〉詩者，諸侯始見武王廟之樂歌也。謂周公居攝七年，而歸政成王。成王即政，諸侯來朝，於是率之以祭武王之廟。」關於「享」字〈易經.鼎卦〉說：「聖人亨以享上帝，而大亨以養聖賢。」《孝經. 聖治》篇記載了孔子的一番話：「天地之性，人為貴。人之行，莫大於孝。孝莫大於嚴父。嚴父莫大於配天，則周公其人也。昔者周公郊祀后稷以配天，宗祀文王於明堂，以配上帝。是以四海之內，各以其職來祭。」所以「享」在這裡是享祭上帝之意。
