引用文章神童與遺忘--遺忘的節奏 Memory is the diary that we carry with us all day long. A person's memory is his/ her greatest literature which is his previous life experiences and wisdom in life. Even though we can't change our memories, we can be our masters to change the meanings of the previous memories and the impact of those memories over us in a more positive attitude. Moments will be memorized, but days will be forgotten; since the functions of the memory are collection and distribution. "Out of sight, out of mind." is frequently heard, but being wise to have selective memories sounds fabulous. Retentive memories may be too good to be true, but the ability to forget and forgive is truly kind of amazing grace and a certain magic power. Yesterdays are never dead, they are not even gone owing to the reason that what have happened won't be forgotten but we need links to drag back the memories. "Happiness is nothing more than good health and a bad memory" which is quoted by Albert Schweitzer should be a good motto. Haha, it is cool to remember others' goodness but it will be wiser to forget or forgive others' badness. |
