Where the forest meets the sea Jeannie Baker
The author recalled the time when his father took him to the tropical rainforest at the small island that pretty few people knew. He liked there so much that he thought the time went through fast when they was about to leave there. The pictures in the book were vivid and colorful. What the author emphasized best was the destruction of the environment and the importance of our environment. When I read to the last page, a bit of sorrow and sadness welled up. It seemed to a question about the forest’s future, but there was a certainly answer behind the question- the forest would no longer be there. Because of the artificial exploitation, the square measure of rainforest reduced year by year. It provided food for thought and I considered that we should care for the problem of environmental protect. After all, there is only an earth in the world.
