Ill Never Fall in Love Again

Dionne Warwick 的這首 “I Say a Little Prayer”，
是一支描寫一個女人想念在越南戰場上的男友
在整天的生活中，都時時想起男友，為他祈禱的一首歌，
由Burt Bacharach 作曲， Hal David作詞。
在1966年4月就灌唱完畢，
但是 Burt Bacharach 嫌歌唱得太趕太匆促，
唱了十次，對最後的錄音還是不滿意，
就被冷藏了下來，到1967年才由唱片公司老板的建議
收到Dionne Warwick 要發行的一個專輯裡，
沒料到唱片發賣後，這首歌大受歡迎，
公司趕忙出單張。
在1967年的熱門暢銷榜上升到最高第四名，
單張的另一面是電影《娃娃谷》（Valley of the Dolls）的主題曲，也很叫座，
在隔年1968的排行榜上竄升到第二名，
是罕見的單張唱片兩支曲子都賣座的例子。

這首歌在1968年也由 Aretha Franklin 再度灌唱，
也相當流行賣座。在排行榜上最高到第十名。
