這首Morning Has Broken 原本是基督教的讚美詩歌，
歌調是蘇格蘭民謠，由Eleanor Farjeon 填詞，
在1931年出版，常在兒童禮拜以及喪禮中演唱。
1972年英國流行歌手 Cat Stevens 把這首歌放入他的唱片中，
沒想到大受歡迎，在美國暢銷歌曲排行榜上升至第六位。

因為歌詞充滿正向的希望，
在美國屢屢被用來在婚禮中做為祝福新人的歌曲，
算是風水輪輪轉吧。
